| My art grows out of my observant nature and need for personal expression. In general, my work is biographical and reflects the people and ideas I believe in or that interest me...the obsevances of my daily life. Often, these are the small things and quiet spaces my eye finds to rest on in a busy and noisy world. Before I turned to art full time, I worked in human service fields and still continue to find people the most interesting of subjects. I am touched by our shared humanity but more interested in finding ways to portray an individual's uniqueness and life story.
